Foundation For Inner Peace Is Your Essence Patiently Waiting For You

The foundation for inner peace is to be found within a human being. The expression 'i am who i am' can question life. We want to find the difference, that secret, the X factor of life itself.

We do so much in life but our priorities are - what? Finding life purpose? Where is the seat of the soul (substitute your word here) if you believe such exists?

Seat of the soul

Where to start with the soul? That essence within. That spirit that is us. The center of our life.

Your soul is the essence at your center. Guard it well.Foundation for inner peace: finding life purpose, seat of the soulOur soul is our life. We would do well to search it out, wonder at it, experience it. And have faith and trust in life - then all can be yours.

Finding life purpose

The foundation for inner peace . . .

Spend time exploring yourself and find your center within. Learn to trust yourself and have faith in life. Find out that life is firmly on your side. Find your essence and nourish it. Support it and guard it wisely. Know that life has much that it wishes to show you and reveal to you.

Have we given much time or thought to its existence? Its purpose or meaning?

i am who i am

Perhaps life seems more about the external aspects of earning a living, deciding who to live or hang out with, what job to do, whether to drink or not. Whether to follow this rock band or this film star.

So much in the bright lights of life. So much to throw ourselves into and lose ourselves in. But where does that all get us? It passes the time but does it fulfill us? It provides entertainment but does it feed us within, does it feed our soul?

Find the difference

The foundation for inner peace . . .

We may be captivated by many things. We may desire many things. We may want many things. I bet most of these are possessions, either inanimate or living, that we want to possess or be possessed by.

What does this possession mean? It can be passing and temporary, it can be long term and all encompassing. But what do they or it really give us. A smoke screen or mirage of happiness and contentment, of success and achievement. But is it real and sustainable? Does it really have the substance that we crave or are we on a hiding to nothing?

When all around have bought into this picture of life and made it a reality for themselves, and us along with it, it can be quite hard to extricate oneself from it.

The Matrix trilogy had a very powerful message hidden within the glamour, the excitement, the action, the good v evil, the human and the machine.

What lay hidden was the fact that did the people realize that they were in a made up but very real world, and who was really pulling the strings? Does that sound familiar? (Well worth another viewing to remind ourselves of the 'matrix' of life in action.)

Foundation for inner peace

But enough of movies, on these pages we will be looking at different aspects of what really makes us tick. Hopefully getting us to look at what gives us meaning and purpose in life. Helping us to start this process in the faith and trust that this is a meaningful and important path to walk.

If this is not your time, that is fine. But there may come a day when you will look back (after a 'oh yes' or 'a ha' moment) and think - now is the time to explore that, explore me, my life a bit more closely. Yes I will, and now . . .

Please feel free to join me on this journey of discovery. Let us move forward together.

Happy reading. All best,
