Make Sense Out Of Life - Then Use Your Time Wisely
Increase your understanding Can you make sense of out things? Do you understand what you are doing in life or is it just a big mystery that you leave at arms length? Is your direction in life clear to you? You have it well mapped out and really know where you want to go. Tangents occur but you are focussed and able to put them aside. Your effort is mainstream (for you) and you will not be easily dissuaded or knocked off course. Or is it somewhat difficult? There is a mixture of thoughts, feelings and emotions, and several competing and diverse directions which you could take. And their relative importance seems to change by the day or by the way you feel and got out of bed that day. We may ask is it our right to understand and make sense out of things? And I would say a definite - YES. Of course. We are all human beings doing our best in life. Trying to get by. Overcoming obstacles and hurdles as they present themselves. Moving ahead. Learning. Forgetting. Developing. Going wrong from time to time. All those things that we all do. But throughout our life is there for us. Time continues and breath comes in and out and life goes on. And little by little more and more of life dawns upon us. We do not need be intellectual, but we do need to observe and become more aware. Notice and make note. Listen and hear and understand. See and take in and reflect and make some progress. It is our right to make sense of things, of our life. But for our part of this bargain we need to be humble, have a childlike innocence about us and accept ourselves and life at face value. We can then absorb much that life has to offer us. Absorb and assimilate. Observe and understand. And take from life what we will. But the more we can become aware and accept life and its ups and downs, its successes and failures, the more we can take the knocks and continue on - the more life will grant us. And one day, old or young, we will look back and reflect and see where we have been, what we have come through, what we have accomplished. And see the person we have become and be proud. A selfless giving pride in what we have achieved and what we have given in return. Make sense of your life. And realize that life will continue to be a great, wondrous and exciting adventure for you in the future. Bring it on. All best, Martin
