Treat Power With Authority To Influence Life For Good
Power is different things to different people. It means different things to different people. Its allure is different for different people. To some there is the influence it brings. To others it is being a force to be reckoned with. To others they seek the authority it brings. To others they want to master it and bring it under their control. But all have to learn their part in these actions and activities - and the consequences they may bring. Some think of this influence as the ability to change - the world, their world, their existence, the existence of others.
Some view the ability to do what one wants, without need to ask the leave of someone or something else. And not always act for the benefit of all. Some view the potential of our inner strength as the real captivation, the real goal. To be able to harness a force for good, an authority to act, that maybe few of us ever have the chance to emulate. Some think that the strength and might of position commands all. They will not suffer weakness. They want to be masters (mistresses) of all they survey. Perhaps, as few of us get real power, over others or other things, then this is the real quest. To dominate not to share, to master not to encourage and support, to command without thought or question of appeal or dissension. These are mainly worldly powers that I mention above. They are about personal power but used, in the main, externally to influence actions, events and the like. But there is a personal force that exists in us all, and this is more the subject matter that I will be looking at on these web pages. To exert personal power in order to live the life you would like. But doing so by being in sync with your life. Being in harmony with life and your surroundings. That strength of character, backed up by confidence, motivation, and determination that allows us to live a comfortable life. That is, a life in comfort with ourselves. Where we may well extend our comfort zone, but we accept ourselves for who we are. We respect ourselves and have a good and wholesome self image. Those qualities and more will give us the personal authority with which we can really make a mark in our own life and make a contribution to the world around us. On these pages we will be looking at different aspects what this can mean in our own lives. Please feel free to join me on this journey of discovery. Let us move forward together. Happy reading.
