Seeking Inner Peace Is One Of The Highlights Of This Journey Called Life
The search for inner peace Seeking inner peace by letting any stroke of insight lead you within to experience the spiral of silence. Bathe within. Feel that call to obey your thirst - to have it quenched. Let the silence and the calm wash over you. The search for inner peace is not just a noble cause but a part of developing our self awareness. Deep within each one of us lies that special place where inner peace emanates. Seeking ourselves, an experience of ourselves, comes to most if not all of us at some time in our lives. Keep in touch with your inner feelings. Let the discipline of silence to be found within give you the courage to explore, to discover, to have the courage to be yourself. Obey your thirst From the moment we wake in the morning to last thing at night we are in touch with the outer world. This gives us the input in varied directions and sustenance for the body, but often little for the spirit. We have many needs. Sleep, diet, exercise, rest and relaxation. Each human being also needs to find their thirst for life, and to have it satisfied. Stroke of insight At times we devote ourselves to looking after number one. At those times we wish to find satisfaction. We need to find support and sustenance for our heart. For that we need to look within. To search within ourselves for our center. Where our spark of life exists and from which our life emanates. Where silence reigns and can spiral out of us from a deep well within. Being aware of this and experiencing this is one thing. Focusing our attention within and bathing in that pool of life experience can uplift our spirits. Spiral of silence This takes practice and a certain amount of training. To enable us not to control what we see and feel, rather to help teach us where to look and what to do. We may feel satisfied for a short while, and then lose that experience once more. Then later something reminds us of our need to be seeking inner peace and we find that well a little more easily this time. We find that we need sustenance more and more, but cannot always find it for ourselves. There are too many distractions around. But we become humble and sincere in our quest to be at one with that well within - that spiral of silence - and seek help, support and assistance. When we (eventually) call for help and direction - our call will not go unheeded.
All best, Martin
