The Well Trained Mind Is One Step Ahead In The Game Of Life

Optimal thinking

The well trained mind utilizes selective attention to maintain focus. Using proactive thinking our minds power can keep us ahead of any challenges and we are ready to meet whatever life chooses to throw our way.

A mixture of optimal and blue sky thinking enables our minds to focus on what is important. At times thinking in pictures and not words helps our cause, too. Being selective in our thinking, attention and focus enables us to best use our energies and allows us to put in our efforts where it really counts.

Selective attention

How good are you at paying attention? Is your focus good or way would? What would draw you concentration and focus more in line with what you should be doing?

Is it because we would rather be somewhere else, anywhere apart from being where we are now?

If someone talks to you are you more interested in the killer response or are you attending and listening to what they have to say? And trusting that the right words will come when it is your time to respond?

Why does our focus wander? Are there just too many options in life? Too many things that we could get our teeth into. Too many draws upon our time.

The well trained mind combines optimal thinking with blue sky thinkingOccasionally we may find our focus returning more to home. To ourselves.

We may experience something that draws us back to number one, to ourselves.

And, at those moments, we can feel something within. A power and a focus. An energy and foundation.

Blue sky thinking

We can experience the spark of life within. Put your attention on that and you will have the experience of your day.

Let your mind soar above the day to day endeavors. The well trained mind may wish to return to more thoughtful, logical or common place things, but use selective attention to keep your mind on what you wish to focus on.

Give yourself time each day to focus within. To turn your senses within. To discover a well of tranquility and peace within.

Proactive thinking

The well trained mind allows us to uncover life within. Enjoy and savor those moments. Live for those moments.

They will give you the strength, resolve and motivation to enjoy each day. To give and contribute, to find your niche in life. To enjoy yourself and share your life with others.

Paying attention is really worthwhile. When your mind wanders proactively bring it back and refocus.

In this way you will be able to uncover more about yourself each and every day. The journey of a lifetime.
